Your privacy is very important to us. The Privacy Policy provides you with information on how we collect, use, share and store your Personal Information when you use our services. This Privacy Policy describes how The Cycling Physios (“The Cycling Physios”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy when you use our website or educational services. We use third party online software called “ThinkIFC” to provide educational  services and sell our courses.  Think IFC have their own Privacy Policy that you can view here.

The Cycling Physios respects your privacy and shares your concern about the security of data you submit to The Cycling Physios. Our privacy policy explains the information we collect, how we use and protect it, and how to access and update your information.

We collect the following data: 

Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, address) is information that, either alone or in combination with other information collected, identifies an individual. Depending on the nature of services we will collect other information necessary to provide these services to you.  We do not collect any more Personal Data from you than what we have determined is needed for us to provide the Services or that you have decided to share with us to personalise the Services, and to comply with applicable laws.  

We receive email questions from current and potential customers. We answer the emails but do not use the email addresses for any other purpose.

The Cycling Physios may contain links to third-party websites not owned or controlled by The Cycling Physios. The Cycling Physios is not responsible for the privacy policies of any third-party websites which a user may access through a third-party link. Furthermore, these third-party websites may have privacy policies which differ from this Privacy Policy. The Cycling Physios disclaims all responsibility for the privacy practices of such other third-party websites. You should read the privacy policies of each third-party website that you visit to determine what information each third-party may be collecting about you and how they intend to use such information.  

Analytics  

The Cycling Physios uses third party systems such as Jetpack and Google analytics to make judgements and analysis on the visitors to our website and social media channels. Please see the respective privacy policies, no personal data is stored.

How information is collected and stored 

The Cycling Physios collects information you provide to us. Typically this is collected via a web application and stored in a secure cloud environment. The Cycling Physios will keep your data provided to us for a minimum of eight years (in line with guidance from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy).  

Children’s personal information 

When we process children’s personal information we will do so with the consent of a parent/ guardian however we do not anticipate this to be an action we will need to carry out.

How we use information 

The Cycling Physios uses the information we collect to administer and operate the services provided to you. We do not share your publicly identifiable information with third parties expect with your express permission.  

How we protect your information 

We take several measures to safeguard the collection, transmission and storage of the data we collect. These steps depend on the sensitivity of the data that we collect, process, and store. Although we strive to employ reasonable protections for your information that are appropriate to its sensitivity, we do not guarantee or warrant the security of the information you share with us and we are not responsible for the theft, destruction, loss or inadvertent disclosure of your information or content. No system is 100% secure.  

Right to access 

You have the right to request copies of your personal data from HP3. 

Updating account information 

If you believe the data we hold on you is incorrect, you may correct, amend or delete submitted account information that is inaccurate at any time by contacting us at pick the appropriate email address eg. Data@thecyclingphysios.co.uk  

Deleting Information 

You may request deletion of your personal identifiable information by contacting the data controller at The Cycling Physios email address..

If The Cycling Physios makes changes to this Privacy Policy, the updated Privacy Policy will be posted in a timely manner. The Cycling Physios reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. If you object to any of the changes to Privacy Policy, you may cease using the services and request deletion of your data, subject to legal requirements. Using the services after a notice of changes has been communicated to you or published on the services shall constitute your agreement to the changes.
